Here
are a few of our tips to help you care for your fabrics
:: All furnishing fabrics benefit from
regular care and attention. If looked after they should retain their
appearance for many years, however they are not indestructable,
and wear will vary with the amount of use.
:: Generally dry cleaning is recommended though some
fabrics can be hand washed at 40c or machine washed at 30c as long
as bleaching and tumble drying is avoided. Many washing powders
contain optical brightners to improve whites, and these should be
avoided.
:: Please remember if washing fabrics that shrinkage
will occur - allow up to 5%.
:: Curtains and furniture should be vacuumed at regular
intervals to prevent dust and grime becoming engrained. Turning
cushions will extend their life by spreading wear more evenly.

Remember!
Direct sunlight can cause fading, so it is recommended that curtains
are lined. Furniture, cushions and throws should be kept away
from large windows if at all possible.
